When Covid started and I got stuck at home in a country away from my homeland; I started missing different things from home. Only in seclusion one realises how attached one is to their home. I see beautiful sunbirds in the morning, singing in my trees of my balcony. But strangely I started missing the cawing of the crows and the twittering of the sparrows, something you never hear where I live. That was the inspiration to paint these little sparrows. Creating a scene from my home town.
